Brian Milleisen

2022 Inductee - 2006 Graduate

Brian Milleisen was a member of the Fitchburg State baseball and football teams. In football, Brian concluded his career, ranking second in rushing yards with 2,811, second in attempts at 570 and second all-time in career rushing touchdowns at 39. In the sport of baseball, Milleisen batted .359 (88-for-245) with 58 runs scored, 17 doubles, five triples, four home runs, 55 RBI, 26 walks and 22 stolen bases.

Brian is currently the High School Technology and Engineering Teacher at Hauppauge High School on Long Island, N.Y., which happens to be the same High School his father (who was also a teacher), where he is a member of their athletic hall of fame for his outstanding football career, including being named top 100 high school running backs in the country.

He coached JV Baseball at Hauppauge High School for 12 years, where he was JV coach of the year in 2014 and 2015. He coached football at the Jr high, Jr Varsity and Varsitylevel at Hauppauge High School., Longwood High School and Miller Place High School (where he grew up and started his athletic career).

When not teaching or playing with his kids, Brian owns and operates North Shore Decking in the summers. Ironically, one of his first costumers was former Fitchburg State Baseball Head Coach, Pete Egbert. Brian hires his students, which gives him the opportunity to demonstrate them how skills taught in class can be applied in the real world.

Brian and his wife Jen have three children: Tessa (5), Braden (3) and Mason (1). Brian's athletic career came full circle this past summer when he coached his Tessa's first year of little league baseball. He's looking forward to watch all his kids grow up loving sports as much as he does.
