Dean Nichols - 2006 Inductee - 1996 Graduate

Dean Nichols ‘96 capped his brilliant senior season at Fitchburg State by being named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) co?]player of the year in soccer. It is because of this outstanding play that he is now being inducted into the Fitchburg State College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Dean is the College's all?]time assist leader (40) and third all?]time leading scorer (110 points). As a sophomore he was named second team all?]MASCAC. As a junior and senior he received first team all?]MASCAC honors.

Over his career, the Falcons posted a 41?]21?]6 record. Dean collected eight game?]winning goals during this time, including four game?]winning goals as a senior.

Dean is in his fourth year as head coach of the Framingham State College men's soccer program. In his first three seasons, he turned the program around, including a MASCAC birth in 2004.

Today, he lives in Framingham with his wife Kristen (Wiley) a 1997 Fitchburg State graduate, his two?]year?]old daughter Ashlyn Elizabeth and his one?]year?]old son Davin Thomas. Dean is the owner of a self storage facility in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
