Bio

Peura comes to Fitchburg State with over ten years’ experience in athletic administration.  She was the first full-time SID at Becker College beginning in the fall 2005 and was the Sports Information Director/Senior Women Administrator at Anna Maria College from 2011-2014. At both schools she implemented re-designs of the athletic websites and developed their social media presence.

 “We believe Bettiann will be a great addition to our staff,” says Lauder. “We are very impressed by the work she has done, and look forward to seeing new and creative ideas from the Sports Information office.”

A graduate of Salem State University, (Michalik) Peura received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, while holding a Master’s of Science in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy.
