Bio

Jordan joined the Fitchburg State University Athletics Department in August of 2016.

She also provides athletic training services throughout Massachusetts as an athletic trainer for Precision Athletic Training. Previously, Jordan was the Athletic Trainer at Camp Walt Whitman in Piermont, N.H., where she worked within a six person team of professionally licensed nurses and nursing students and in-residence doctors to provide excellent service to all campers.

Jordan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Maine, where she graduated Magna cum Laude in the spring of 2016. While a student, Jordan gained clinical experiences with their D1 sports teams, including field hockey, men’s basketball, football, softball, women’s soccer, and track and field. She also gained experience with the D3 basketball and lacrosse teams at Husson University in Bangor, Maine.

She also holds a Master's of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science from the California University of Pennsylvania where she graduated in the winter of 2017. Through her graduate courses, Jordan gained a certification as a National Association of Sports Medicine – Corrective Exercise Specialist.

During her first year at FSU, Jordan underwent an EMT certification course and worked briefly as an EMT in Massachusetts. She holds several additional memberships and certifications, including an AHA BLS Healthcare Provider CPR/AED Certification, as well as, a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.

Jordan currently resides in Leicester, Mass.
