Todd Souliere joined the Fitchburg State Athletics department in October 2000. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Athletic Training from Lyndon State College in 1992.

After graduation, he joined the staff of Dan Wyand P.T. and Associates in St. Johnsbury, Vt where he worked as an Athletic Trainer and was contracted out to St. Johnsbury Academy High School to provide athletic training services. In 1998 Todd went to graduate school at Springfield College and earned a Master's of Science degree in Sports Injury Prevention and Management. While at Springfield one of Todd's career highlights was having the privilege of traveling with the Men's soccer team to Hong Kong and China for a 2-week soccer expedition.

Todd holds certifications from the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He also is an Instructor with the American Red Cross in Community CPR, AED, and First aid.

 

 

 

Rebecca Shersnow

Rebecca Shersnow joined the Fitchburg State Athletic Department in September 2000. Rebecca was previously the athletic trainer at North Middlesex Regional High School where she also worked as a substitute teacher (1999-00). Rebecca has also worked previously at Franklin Pierce University in 1999 as a part-time athletic trainer and Approved Clinical Instructor. She worked as a field hockey coach at Narraganset Regional High School (1995) and at Oyster River High School (1996-97).

Rebecca's educational background began at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she was a History major and member of the field hockey team. She then moved on to Castleton State College where she earned her B.S. in Physical Education (Athletic Training) in 1996. She pursued and earned her M.S. of Kinesiology (Sports Studies) at the University of New Hampshire in 1998.

Rebecca has worked at many camps and clinics in the Northeast. She previously served as Fitchburg State's initial CHAMPS/Life Skills Coordinator.  She has also been a NATA Certified Examiner.
