Game 1 – Dickinson 6, Fitchburg State 3

The Falcons got a run in the bottom of the first as Nathan Littman singled, advanced to second on a base hit by Robert Lewis III, and scored on an RBI single by Brendan Cutler.

Dickinson got single runs in the second, fourth and fifth innings to take a 3-1 lead. Fitchburg cut the deficit to 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, plating a run in nearly identical fashion as in the first. Littman singled, advanced to second on a walk to Lewis, and came around on Cutler's second RBI base knock.

Dickinson would up its lead to 6-2 in the top of the seventh and held off the Green and Gold despite a third run-scoring single by Cutler in the bottom of the seventh.

Game 2 – Dickinson 7, Fitchburg State 6

Dickinson took the lead in the bottom of the first with a run off Falcons' starter Evan Meleedy. The Green and Gold responded in the top of the second with a RBI single by Mike Martignetti that brought Mitch Clary home.

Dickinson took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the second, but after both teams went scoreless in the third and fourth frames, Fitchburg State exploded for five runs in the top of the fifth.

Mike Martignetti led off with a double and came around to score on an RBI hit by Andrew Currie. After a sacrifice bunt by Vianchi Pujols, Littman drove Currie home with the second run of the inning. Steven Drury then reached on a hit by pitch that advanced Littman to second. A Lewis single plated Littman, and Drury came around on a Cutler fielder's choice. The Falcons closed out their scoring as Luis Ortiz's run-scoring double brought home Cutler.

Leading 6-2 heading to the bottom of the fifth, the Green and Gold were unable to hold the Dickinson offense in check, as the Red Devils scored a pair in the bottom of the fifth, a single run in the sixth, then walked off with the win with a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh.

Fitchburg State wraps up its Spring Break trip to Florida on Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. doubleheader against Martin Luther College.
