Falcons Name Five To MASCAC All-Conference Teams

Littman, Milliard, Lefebvre, Maki and Smith collect MASCAC All-Conference honors

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Senior Nathan Littman and sophomore Noah Milliard earned Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference First Team honors, while freshman Brandon Lefebvre, junior Sean Maki, and senior Tyler Smith were named to the MASCAC All-Conference Second Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Littman picks up his first MASCAC All-Conference honor after posting a .304 batting average with six doubles , one triple, 15 RBI, 28 runs scored and a team-best 18 steals, while Milliard also earns his first MASCAC All-Conference accolade after hitting .397 (25-for-63), including ten doubles, one triple, 13 runs scored, 14 RBI and one steal.

Lefebvre collects his first All-Conference selection after witnessing a break out rookie campaign, batting .305 with five doubles, one triple, 24 runs batted in, 21 runs scored and ten stolen bases, while Maki also picks up his first MASCAC All-Conference honor after hitting .352 with a team-leading 43 hits, 11 double doubles, two triples, four home runs, 24 runs scored, 31 RBI and ten stolen bases.

Joining Lefebvre and Maki on the MASCAC All-Conference Second Team was Smith, who posted an ERA of 4.14 with a team-leading 43 strikeouts and an overall record of 6-6 in 69 innings of work over 15 appearances for the Green and Gold.

The Fitchburg State University Baseball team recently concluded its 2017 campaign with an overall record of 14-20-1 and a 7-7 clip in conference play.
