Towle Selected MASCAC Baseball Pitcher Of The Week

Westfield, Mass. native registers first weekly accolade of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman pitcher Ryan Towle (Westfield, Mass.) was tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The first-year Falcons collected his first weekly honor of the 2018 campaign after posting an ERA of 0.00 with six strikeouts, while allowing just three hits in five innings of relief to pick up his first collegiate win in a 10-0 season opening win over Anna Maria College on Saturday, February 24th.

The Fitchburg State baseball team (1-0, 0-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Saturday as it takes on the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College for a double-header in day one action of its annual spring trip to Florida, starting at 10:00 A.M.
