Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State graduate student Connor Morehouse (Wetherby Lake, Mo.) and senior Vincent Eramo (Shirley, Mass.) were recently selected to the 2022 American Baseball Coaches Association All-New England Regional Team as announced by ABCA/Rawlings on Tuesday afternoon.

Morehouse earned a second-team All-New England slot at the utility position. Earlier this month Morehouse was selected to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference First Team. In his first season as a Falcon, Morehouse had a .356 batting average, including 16 doubles, two triples, four home runs, 37 runs scored, 28 RBI, six walks, and six stolen bases.

Eramo was named to the third team All-New England as a catcher. Eramo finished his Falcon career with a stellar senior season, leading the team in several offensive categories including batting average (.400), hits (56), home runs (7), OBP (.437), SLG (.636.) and RBIs (34).  Eramo also has a pair of MASCAC All-Conference selections.

The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America Committee. The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II, and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.
