Leominster, Mass. native collects first weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman forward Molly Richard collects her first weekly honor of the season after being tabbed Little East Conference (LEC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Richard posted six points on three goals scored in a 1-1 week for the Fitchburg State field hockey team after notching her second hat trick of the season. Tallying three markers in the Green and Gold's 6-0 win over Mount Ida College on Wednesday evening.
The Fitchburg State field hockey team (6-8, 1-7 LEC) returns to action on Tuesday as it hosts the Colonials of Western Connecticut State for a contest starting at 7 p.m.
