Barnaby Tabbed LEC Field Hockey Rookie Of The Week

Leominster, Mass. native receives first weekly honor of the 2018 campaign

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Emma Barnaby (Leominster, Mass./Leominster) was recently named Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The first-year forward registers her first weekly accolade of the season after netting one goal, including her first collegiate tally in a 4-3 victory over the Vikings of Salem State University on Saturday afternoon.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team (2-3, 1-1 LEC) returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to Plymouth State University for a contest starting at 6:00 PM.
