Tibbetts Selected MASCAC Field Hockey Rookie Of The Week

Lunenburg, Mass. native collects first weekly accolade of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State sophomore Autumn Tibbetts (Lunenburg, MA) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday

The sophomore forward picks up her first weekly honor of the year after notching one goal scored, including her first collegiate marker for the Falcons in a 2-1 overtime setback to Framingham State on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team (0-4, 0-1 MASCAC) returns to action on Wednesday as they travel to Anna Maria to take on the Amcats in non-conference action, starting at 4:00PM.
