Sophomore forward nets third weekly honor on the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State field hockey sophomore Autumn Tibbetts (Lunenburg, MA) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Autumn earns her third weekly accolade of the year after posting six points on three goals scored, while notching her first collegiate hat trick in a 4-3 setback to the Vikings of Salem State on Wednesday evening.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team (4-12, 3-7 MASCAC) returns to action on Wednesday as they travel to the fourth seeded Vikings of Salem State in quarter final round action of the 2023 MASCAC Field Hockey Post-Season tournament, starting at 7:00PM.
