Four Falcons Named To MASCAC All-Conference Teams
Morse/Yates selected to 1st team; Raymond/Tibbetts named to 2nd team 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Four Falcons were named to the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Teams as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Senior Jenna Morse (Leominster, MA) and sophomore Sophia Yates (Woodstock, VT) earned first team accolades, while junior Alexis Raymond (Tewksbury, MA) and sophomore Autumn Tibbetts (Lunenburg, MA) were named to the second team.

Morse notched her second all-conference nod, rewriting the Fitchburg State records books this season, becoming the Falcons all-time program leader in saves with 438 career saves after making 149 stops with a 2.85 goals against average and a .756 save percentage on the season, while Yates netted her second all-conference. ranking second on the team in goals (4) and points (12) and first in assists with four.

Raymond finished the 2023 season with eight points on three goals scored and two helpers to earn her second all-conference honor, while Tibbetts rounded out the Falcons all-conference selections, finishing first on the squad with 20 points on a team-leading nine goals and two assists to notch her first all-conference selection.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team recently concluded its 2023 campaign with an overall record of 4-13 and a 3-7 mark in conference play, en-route to garnering the fifth seed in the 2023 MASCAC Field Hockey Post-Season Tournament.
