Men's Basketball Downed by Lasers

AUBURNDALE, MA: Fitchburg State men's basketball fell this afternoon to Lasell University in non-conference action by a score of 73-57.  

THE BASICS:

- Score: Lasell 73, Fitchburg 57

- Records: Lasell (1-1), Fitchburg (0-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  After a neck-and-neck first half, the Lasers jumped out to a small four-point lead of 27-23 going into the break. Lasell wouldn't trail for the rest of the contest.

- Lasell had four players break into double digits in points in this one. Leading the way with a double-double was Andy Madesko, with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Following him was Quinton Partee, with 15 points, Marcus Lewis, with 13 points, and Conan McCusker, with 10 points.

- The Falcons were again led by Frederick Siayor (Worcester, MA) with another 20-point game on 8-of-22 from the floor and 2-of-7 from beyond the arc. Matthew Drayton (Boston, MA) also broke into double digits with 13 points and four rebounds while coming off the bench.
