Men's Basketball Bested by Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, MA: Fitchburg State men's basketball fell to Bridgewater State this afternoon in conference action.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 2/10/24

- Score: Bridgewater 98, Fitchburg 73

- Records: Bridgewater (13-10, 9-2 MASCAC), Fitchburg (3-20, 1-9 MASCAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Bears were paced by Precious Okoh with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Zach Taylor put up 16 points in this one while coming off the bench. Dante Kikuba and Josh Campbell rounded out the top scorers for Bridgewater. Kikuba finished with 12 points and Campbell with 11.

- The Falcons were led by Frederick Siayor (Worcester, MA), who scored 11 points. Javon Taylor (Cambridge, MA) was the only other Falcon to score double-digits in this one. He finished with ten points and a team-high five rebounds.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shooting: Bridgewater shot 52.2% from the floor, 44.8% from three, and 92.9% from the line. Fitchburg finished shooting 40.5% from the floor, 32% from three, and 62.5% from the line.

-  Rebounds: Bridgewater 48, Fitchburg 31

-  Assists: Bridgewater 23, Fitchburg 16
