Dinicola Collects All-New England Honors
Wolcott, Conn. native selected to NE DII/III Men's Ice Hockey All-Star Team
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior forward Nick DiNicola (Wolcott, Conn.) was recently selected to the 2017-18 New England DII/III Men's Ice Hockey All-Star Team as announced by the New England Hockey Writers Association.
The third-year Falcon netted a team-leading 47 points on 11 goals and 36 assists as well as three game-winning markers in 27 games for the Green and Gold this past season, en-route to leading the Fitchburg State Ice Hockey team to its first ever bid into the NCAA Division III Ice Hockey Championship Tournament.
Fitchurg State concluded the 2017-18 season with an overall record of 18-7-3 and an 11-4-3 mark in conference play, en-route to capturing the Falcons second Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) championship in school history.
