Ceolin Tabbed MASCAC Ice Hockey Rookie Of The Week

Simsbury, Conn. native earns first weekly accolade of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Anthony Ceolin (Simsbury, Conn.) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

The first-year Falcons picks up his first weekly honor of the season after posting two goals, including the overtime game winner in Fitchburg State's 5-4, overtime triumph over Plymouth State University in the lone contest for the Green and Gold on the week, Thursday evening.

The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (11-7-2, 8-3-2 MASCAC) returns to action on Thursday as it travels to Salem State for a MASCAC matchup, starting at 7:00 PM.
