Bio

Giambrocco is in his 23rd season as an assistant coach with the Fitchburg State ice hockey team. He has aided the Falcons' defensive squad, serving as the team's goaltending coach.

Throughout his time at Fitchburg State, Giambrocco has developed numerous players who have garnered ECAC All-Star honors. He has been an intrical part of the Falcons playoff run, while leading several athletes to ECAC Most Valuable Player recognition.

Giambrocco possess over 20 years coaching experience, including coaching stints at the NCAA and Tier 1 AAA Youth Hockey level as well as the high school/prep level. He has served as head coach for the Bay State Games, leading the Central Region team to three gold medals and three silver medals in a seven year span.

Since 1984, Giambrocco has served as Director/Owner of hockey schools and clinics, including the Falcon Hockey School, Max Effort Power skating school, and the All American Goalie School. In addition, he has been a five-year coach for the NEJHL Midget and Junior "A" programs, while leading the Central Mass Outlaws Tier 1 AAA to a National Championship appearance.

Giambrocco earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine, Orono and currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Resource Utilization.

He currently resides in Leominster, Mass.
