Men’s Soccer To Unveil MASCAC Championship Banner
Falcons to reveal 2014 men's soccer championship banner on February 17th
FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Fitchburg State men's soccer team will be unveiling their 2014 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) post-season tournament championship banner on Tuesday, February 17th during halftime of the Fitchburg State men's Basketball game against Worcester State, which is slated for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff at the recreation center.
During halftime of the Fitchburg State/Worcester State men's basketball team, members of the 2014 Falcons' men's soccer team will uncover their 2014 MASCAC post-season championship banner, which Fitchburg State captured on Sunday, November 9th by defeating the top-seeded Bears of Bridgewater State University, 1-0.
The Fitchburg State men's soccer team concluded its 2014 campaign with an overall record of 11-11-0 and a 4-3 clip in the MASCAC, while earning its first trip into the NCAA DIII men's soccer championship tournament since 1988.
