Fitchburg, Mass.– The Fitchburg State University men's soccer team fell to the Saints of Emmanuel College, 2-0 in non-conference action tonight at Elliot Field.

How It Happened

Emmanuel broke the 0-0 stalemate 34:02 into the first frame. Sophomore Alec Erskine (Coventry, Conn.) converted on an awarded penalty kick, lacing the shot past Falcons' netminder junior Sebastian Jaramillo (Dracut, Mass.) for the 1-0 advantage.

Following the break, the Saints doubled their margin (2-0) at 57:35 when Erskine knotted his second goal of the game off a crisp cross from the right wing by classmate Kyle King (Gorham, ME).
