Loyd Tabbed MASCAC MSOC Co-Rookie Of The Week

Kingston, Mass. native registers second weekly honor of the year

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman forward Alexander Loyd (Kingston, Mass.) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Co-Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The first-year Falcon earns his second weekly accolade on the season tallying three points on one goal and one assist, including the game winner for the Green and Gold in a 2-0 triumph over Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.

The Fitchburg State Men's Soccer team (5-4-1, 2-1 MASCAC) returns to action on Wednesday as it hosts the Cougars of Clark University for a contest starting at 4:00 PM.
