Salem, Mass. native collects first weekly accolade of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore Ben Sattiewhite was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

The second-year Falcon collects his first weekly honor of the season after placing first overall in the high jump with a MASCAC, DIII NE ECAC and Open New England qualifying mark of 2.09m, while setting a new Fitchburg State school record in the process to lead the way for Fitchburg State at the fourth annual UMass Boston Indoor T&F Opener on Saturday

The Fitchburg State men's and women's indoor track teams return to action on Saturday at they complete in the 2015 Jay Carisella Invite, hosted by Northeastern University, starting at 10 a.m.
