Amaral Selected MASCAC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete Of The Week

Tewksbury, Mass. native picks up first weekly accolade of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Senior Brian Amaral (Tewksbury, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The fourth-year Falcon collects his first weekly honor of the year after placing fourth overall in the 5,000 meter with a DIII New England qualifying time of 15:25.12 for the Green and Gold at the sixth annual UMass Boston Winter Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Fitchburg State men's indoor track team returns to action this weekend as it travels to Plymouth State University for a meet starting at 11:00 A.M.
