Sattiewhite Named MASCAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete Of The Week

Salem, Mass. native earns first weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Senior Ben Sattiewhite (Salem, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The fourth-year Falcon picks up his first weekly honor of the year after placing first overall in the high jump with an Open New England qualifying mark of 2.05 meters at the 48th annual Dartmouth Relays on Sunday afternoon. With his jump this past week, Sattiewhite currently ranks fourth nationally in the high jump.

The Fitchburg State men's indoor track team returns to action this weekend as it travels to Brandeis University for a meet starting at 11:00 A.M.
