Stalters Named MASCAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete Of The Week

Norton, Mass. native earns first weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior Cameron Stalters (Norton, Mass.) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Stalters earns his first weekly accolade of the season after taking top honors in the javelin with an Open New England qualifying throw of 64.06 meters for the Falcons as Fitchburg State hosted its annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational on Saturday at Elliot Field.

The Fitchburg State men's outdoor track and field team returns to action this weekend as it competes at Mount Holyoke on Saturday, April 14th for a meet starting at 10:00 AM.
