Stalters Earns All-American Honors At NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

Norton, Mass. native places second overall in the Javelin with toss of 69.90 meters

La Crosse, Wis. – Fitchburg State junior Cameron Stalters (Norton, Mass.) collected All-American honors this afternoon at the 2018 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, finishing second overall in the javelin with a personal best toss of 69.90 meters at the Veteran's Memorial Sports Complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Cameron entered the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships ranked third in the nation in the javelin after securing his spot into the National Championships with a first place throw of 68.47 meters at the 2018 DIII New England Championships, hosted by MIT earlier this month.

The Fitchburg State men's outdoor track and field team recently concluded its 2018 season after select members competed at the 2018 MIT Last Chance National Qualifier on May 17th.
