Bridgewater, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's outdoor track & field team competed at the 2021 Bridgewater State Invitational on Saturday afternoon in a non-scoring event.

How It Happened
- Sophomore Carson Doody (Ashby, Mass.) notched a first place win in the triple jump with a 13.00 meter jump and a third place finish in the javelin throw (48.51m).
- First year Nicholas Zeoli (Plymouth, Mass.) swept both the shot put (12.63m) and the discus (38.71m) in his first collegiate meet.
- Freshman Ja'Michael Jones (Moultrie, Ga.) and Joseph Asare (Brocton, Mass.) finished third (11.95m) and fifth (11.55m) in the shot put behind Zeoli.
- Freshman Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) earned the victory in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 33:05.71 while Nicholas Sachetta (Billerica, Mass.) topped the 800 meter race. (2:01.71). Teammate Trevor Fields (Shirley, Mass.) finished a hair behind Sachetta in the 800m (2:01.71).
- With a time of 51.14 sophomore Chris Morales (Lynn, Mass.) earned the 400 meter dash title.
- Three Falcons finished atop of the 1500 meter Run. Junior Brian O'Sullivan (Templeton, Mass.) topped the list at 4:16.11 just ahead of Sachetta and Timothy Sheehy (Wakefield, RI).
