Rochester, N.Y. – Fitchburg State freshman Liam Bourassa (Shirley, Mass.) collected All-American honors this afternoon at the 2023 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, finishing sixth overall in the javelin with a personal best toss of 63.76 meters at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex on the campus of St. John Fisher University.

Bourassa entered the 2023 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships ranked tenth in the nation in the javelin after securing his spot into the National Championships with a fourth place toss of 62.61 meters at the 2023 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships, hosted by Northeastern University earlier this month.
