Ouellette Tabbed MASCAC Cross Country Runner Of The Week

Ashburnham, Mass. native collects second weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. (October 7, 2013) – Junior Eric Ouellette (Ashburnham, Mass.) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office Sunday evening.

Ouellette collects his second weekly honor of the season after pacing the Fitchburg State men’s cross country team at the 2013 Keene State Cross Country Invitational this past weekend. At the meet, Eric continued his strong running, garnering a sixth place finish to earn the top Falcon spot for the men’s squad. The third year runner completed the file mile Keene State course in a solid time of 27:09, giving Fitchburg State a fourth place team finish overall.

The Fitchburg State men’s and women’s cross country teams return to action on Saturday as they travel to Westfield State University for a meet starting at 11 a.m.
