Amaral Garners MASCAC Runner & Rookie of the Week Honors
WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) has announced its weekly honors for men's cross country and Fitchburg State's Brian Amaral was named runner and rookie of the week.
The rookie runner placed eighth overall with a time of 27:22 over the 8k course to lead the Falcons to a fourth place finish at the Keene State Invitational last Saturday, October 4th.
This is Amaral's second conference honor of the season after being named rookie of the week on September 24th.
The squad will be back in action this Saturday, October 11th as they travel to Westfield State. First race scheduled for 10:00 am.
