Men’s Cross Country Volunteers At 3rd Annual Doyle Dash
FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Fitchburg State men's cross country team recently participated in the third annual Doyle Dash in as many years. This year's funds donated to Burbank's Cancer Treatment Center to provide "Chemo Care Caddies" filled with helpful items and inspirational messages for patients receiving chemotherapy.
The Fitchburg State student-athletes mapped out and guided the participants through the course among other activities at the 5K Fun Run/Walk to raise funds Burbank's Cancer Treatment Center, while kick staring "National Rehabilitation Awareness Week."
The Fitchburg State men's and women's cross country teams return to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2015 Keene State College Invitational, starting at 11 a.m.
