Hastings Earns MASCAC Runner of the Week Honors
Phillipston, Mass. native receives third weekly honor of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior Jake Hastings was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
Hastings collects his third weekly accolade of the season after placing 70th overall for the Falcons with time of 26:02.39 over the 8k layout at the 2016 NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships, hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State men's cross country recently concluded its 2016 season, placing 18th overall with a total of 576 points at the 2016 NCAA DIII NE Region Championships on Saturday afternoon at Westfield State University.
