Movsessian Collects MASCAC Men's Cross Country Rookie Of The Week Honors

New Ipswich, N.H. native earns first weekly accolade of the season 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Jacob Movsessian (New Ipswich, N.H.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The first-year Falcon collects his first weekly honor on the year after finishing 22nd overall with a time of 27:44.0 over the 5M layout to help guide the Fitchburg State men's cross country team to a second place finish at the 2017 Keene State College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State men's cross country returns to action on Saturday, October 7th as it competes in the 2017 James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University for a meet starting at 11:15 a.m.
