Brunswick, Maine. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed 21st overall at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships this afternoon with a total of 675 points, hosted by Bowdoin College.

How It Happened
Fitchburg State was led by sophomore Jacob Movsessian (Ipswich, N.H./Mascenic), who finished in 69th place with a time of 26:34.8, while senior Anthony Darrigo (Tewksbury, Mass./Tewksbury) was next into the chute with a time of 27:07.1 over the 8K course.
Senior Joseph Darrigo (Tewksbury, Mass./Tewksbury) followed with time of 27:23.0, while sophomore Timothy Sheehy (Wakefield R.I./South Kingstown) crossed the finish line with tine of 27:46.5.
Sophomore Joe Weston (Middleton, Mass./Mascomomet Regional) (29:17.1), junior Brandon DiGregorio (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North) (31:01.2) and senior Ryan Stopka (Rochester, Mass./Old Colony) (32:36.30) rounded out the top finishers for the Falcons on the day.
