North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed 22nd overall at the 48th annual UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational this afternoon.

How It Happened
Sophomore Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) led the way once again for the Falcons with a 15th place time of 25:03.00 over the five mile course, while senior Trevor Fields (Shirley, Mass.) followed in 120th place with a time of 27:32.00.
Junior Matthew Catarius (Shrewsbury, Mass.) entered the chute next with a time of 27:46.10, classmate Samuel Flint (Methuen, Mass.) followed with a time of 28:28.90. Rounding out the top six finishers for the Green and Gold were freshman Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, Conn.) (28:51.60) and senior Nicholas Sachetta (North Hampton, Mass.) (28:56.30)
Inside the Numbers
- Fitchburg State placed 11th overall at 2019 Corsair Invite with a total of 340 points
- UMass Lowell won the 2021 Corsair UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational with a total of 44 points.
