Falcons Race at Purple Valley Invitational
Williamstown, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country competed at the 2021 Williams College Purple Valley Invitational this afternoon, placing 9th overall with a total of 265 points at Mount Greylock High School.

How It Happened
Fitchburg State was led by sophomore Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) who placed 25th overall with a time of 27:35.9, while junior Cameron Davis (Gardner, Mass.) was next (56th) for the Falcons, turning in a time of 31:35.1 over the 8K course.
Senior Nicholas Sachetta (Billerica, Mass.) posted a time of 32:04.3 good for 59th place. Newcomer Aiden Cattelan (West Hartford, Conn.) and junior Tyssen LaBombard (Shelburne Falls, Mass.) finished back to back with times of 32:04.3 and 32:34.7 respectively rounding out the top five for the Falcons.
Sophomore Angelo Pinto (Chaplin, Conn.) (35:08.5) and Elijah Stathis (Northampton, Mass.) (40:22.9) each ran competitive races.
