Manyok Sweeps MXC Weekly Awards For Fourth Straight Week

Lynn, Mass. native notches fourth consecutive weekly accolades of the season 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State sophomore Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) was recently named both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner & Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday for the fourth straight week.

The first-year Falcon continues his stellar 2022 campaign after posting a fourth place time of 25:47,3 over the 8K layout at the 2021 Keene State Invitational on Saturday to help lead the Green and Gold to a seventh place finish.

The Fitchburg State Men's Cross Country team returns to action this Saturday as they compete at the 2021 James Early Invitational, hosted by Westfield State, starting at 10:30 AM.
