Manyok Paces Falcons at James Earley Invitational
Westfield, Mass. – The Fitchburg State men's cross country team finished in 16th place at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday morning.

How It Happened
- Once again, junior Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass) paced the Falcons with a time of 26:20.19, finishing first for the Falcons and securing 16th place overall.
- Freshman Michael Burns (Worcester, Mass.) completed the 8K course in a time of 28:39.02 for a top 100 finish, while senior Cameron Davis (Gardner, Mass.) was in 112th (29:26.20).
- Junior Angelo Pinto (Chaplin Conn.) crossed the chute next for the Green and Gold with a time of 29:45.09, followed by senior Tyssen LaBombard (Shelburne Falls, Mass.) at 29:55.91.
- Other Finishers: Sophomore Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, Conn.) 148th and rookie Brady Madigan (Ayer, Mass.).
- RPI won the meet with a total of 45 points. Connecticut College finished in second (100 points), just ahead of Springfield (102 points).
