Falcons Compete at NCAA DIII East Regionals

Brunswick, Maine. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team competed at the NCAA D3 East Regional Cross Country Championships hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday morning.

Score: Fitchburg State 26th place (693 points)
Team Champion: MIT (21 points)
Individual Champion: Tyler Morris, Colby (24:55.6)

How It Happened
Junior Taban Manyok (Lynn, Mass.) led the Falcons with a 37th-place finish. The reigning MASCAC Runner of the Year crossed the finish line with a time of 26:54. Sophomore Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, Conn.) was next for the Green and Gold with a time of 30:42.9 in 156^th place. Rookie Michael Burns (Worcester, Mass.) completed the 8k course at 30:58.3 (162^nd).
