Bio

Chris Kibler is entering his fourth year as the Associate Head Coach for the Fitchburg State men's cross country team.
 
Kibler, a 2012 graduate of Fitchburg State University, was a four year member of the men's cross country and track teams. He helped the Falcons win MASCAC Championships in both cross country and outdoor track, while aiding the team in achieving numerous MASCAC Runner-up accolades. His athletic career at the University also included being named an All-American in the mile, seven individual MASACAC titles, seven school records, three conference records, a FloTrack Kick of the Week honor, the 10th fastest time in the NCAADIII 3,000m, and garnering the Fitchburg State Paul K.Waring Male Athlete of the Year, the Fitchburg State Athletic Leadership Award and the MASCAC Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Off the track, Kibler received his B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science, while interning as an NCAA DI strength and conditioning coach at the College of the Holy Cross. In addition, he interned as a track and field coach a St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, Mass. Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude and for his efforts was awarded the Exercise and Sports Science Leadership Award, while also named to the 2012 Who's Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges. He then went on to earn his M.B.A. in Management while interning as an Athletic Communications Coordinator at American International College in Springfield, Mass.
 
In addition to coaching, Kibler is a member of the Exercise and Sports Science faculty at the University, teaching classes such as Exercise Physiology, Exercise Testing and Prescription, and Health and Fitness. Chris is also a licensed massage therapist as well as a strength and conditioning coach, linear speed development coach, and adult fitness coach at Power Source Training Center in Leominster, Mass.
 
He currently resides in Leominster, Mass., and still runs competitively for G.B.T.C.
