Fitchburg State Earns Two MASCAC All-Conference Honors
Grossi and Kerr named to MASCAC All-Conference second team
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore outfielder Damari Grossi and senior pitcher/outfielder Galen Kerr were selected to the 2017 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Second Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Grossi collects her first MASCAC All-Conference accolade after hitting .319 with one double, 20 runs scored, five RBI and a team-leading 17 stolen bases in 30 games for the Falcons, while Kerr notches her second MASCAC All-Conference honor, registering an ERA of 2.76 with a team-best 104 K's and an overall record of 6-10 with one save in 109 innings pitched over 20 appearances for the Green and Gold.
The Fitchburg State softball recently concluded the 2017 campaign with an overall record of 11-19 and 6-8 mark in conference play.
