McCarthy Collects MASCAC Softball All-Conference Honors
Lawrence, Mass. native named to MASCAC All-Conference second team
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior first baseman Hayley McCarthy (Lawrence, Mass.) was selected to the 2018 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Second Team as announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.
McCarthy earns her first MASCAC All-Conference accolade after hitting .258 with 24 hits, five doubles, eight RBI, 11 runs scored and one stolen base in 32 games for the Falcons during her junior campaign.
The Fitchburg State softball recently concluded the 2018 campaign with an overall record of 13-20 and 6-8 mark in conference play.
