Campbell Earns MASCAC Softball Pitcher Of The Week Accolades

Goffstown, N.H. native picks up second weekly honor of the season

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior pitcher Emma Campbell (Goffstown, N.H.) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The third-year hurler collects her second weekly accolade on the year after pitching a complete-game, one hit shutout with six strikeouts as well as batting .500 (2-for-4) with three RBI in a 9-0, game two victory against Anna Maria on Thursday.

The Fitchburg State softball team (8-4) returns to action on Wednesday as they travel to Becker College to take on the Hawks for a non-conference twin bill, starting at 3:00 PM.
