Johnson Named MASCAC Player of the Week

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State infielder Audrey Johnson (Fitchburg, Mass.) was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) softball player of the week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

 Johnson batted .667 (8-12) with three doubles, two runs, and five RBI in four games against Westfield State. The junior was a combined 3-for-6 with one double, an RBI, and two runs scored as the Falcons split with Westfield in the first pair of conference games against the Owls on Friday afternoon. Went 5-for-6 with two doubles and four RBI in the two non-conference games on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State softball team returns to action on Friday, when they host MASCAC foe Salem State University for a twinbill starting at 2:00pm.
