Four named to the IWLCA honor roll
Fitchburg, Mass. – Four Fitchburg State University lacrosse upperclassmen were recently named to the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association) Zags Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll.
Senor Lia Crutchfield (East Longmeadow, Mass.) along with juniors Marguerite Belcher (Quincy, Mass.), Anna Gagnon-Burch (Putney, Vt.) and Michelle Hennessey (Londonderry, NH) were the four Falcon players honored. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
"I am extremely proud of the four student-athletes who were named to the Academic Honor Roll," said head coach Rick Terrio. "We hold our athletes to a high standard on and off the field and our veteran players lead the way by setting a tremendous example."
The IWLCA honored 639 student-athletes from 189 different institutions on the 2018 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll.
