Terrio Featured Speaker At 2019 MBGLL Laxapaloosa

Fitchburg Mass. - Mass Bay Girls Lacrosse League (MBGLL)'s newest event for our member towns is Laxapaloosa.  On March 17, 2019 towns were invited to participate in an event geared towards players and coaches.  Event highlights included team gym/field time (by lottery), town meeting space, interactive talks/demonstrations, vendors, Select Tryout space/instruction, the Youth Play Date and more! 

Fitchburg State head women's lacrosse coach Rick Terrio as well as junior Nicole Kopacz (Tewksbury, Mass.), classmate Tracy Long (Georgetown, Mass.) and sophomore Madison Alves (Braintree, Mass.) helped run drills at this year's MBGLL Laxapalossa, hosted at Medford High School on March 17th.

Coach Terrio and his players ran drills in the center circle on draw controls as well as several shooting and passing drills for some of the U13 and U15 Mass Bay Girls and local high schools women's lacrosse teams.

Laxapaloosa is a fun and exciting day of pre-season lacrosse geared towards players and coaches!  This MBGLL-only event was a sure to get your lacrosse enthusiast excited for the upcoming season!  Clinics, vendors, playing opportunities, meeting space, instruction, and more!
