Falcons Name Pair To MASCAC All-Conference Teams
Kopacz and Long named to MASCAC All-Conference Second Team
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Juniors Nicole Kopacz (Tewksbury, Mass.) and Tracy Long (Georgetown, Mass.) were named to the 2019 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse All-Conference SecondTeam as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
Kopacz collects her first All-Conference selection after leading the team in ground balls with 45 and caused turnovers with 29 as well as adding four points on three goals and one assist to go along with 35 draw controls.
Long also earns her first All-Conference accolades after posting a team-best 45 points on 34 markers and 11 helpers, while adding 18 ground balls, 12 draw controls and three caused turnovers in 16 appearances for the Falcons.
The Fitchburg State University Women's Lacrosse team recently concluded its 2019 campaign with an overall record of 2-14 and a 1-6 clip within conference play.
