How It Happened

Senior Siobhan O'Connell (Abington, Mass.) potted a pair of goals for the Falcons in the first half. A pair of through balls from Janae Owens (Springfield, Mass.) and Kerri Morris (Marlborough, Mass.) on separate occasions, led O'Connell down the right wing where the speedy forward outmaneuvered the Curry netminder top shelf twice.

Curry scored a pair of goal in-between O'Connell's tallies. Sophomore Elizabeth Lynch (Newburyport, Mass.) notched Curry's first goal with an unassisted long shot from the left wing. Just four minutes later Jules Petrucelli (Milford, Conn.) connected on a pass from Tayla Randall (Walpole, Mass.) for the brief 2-1 advantage for Curry.

Knotted at 2-2, Amanda Crisfulla (Raynham, Mass.) collected a loose rebound at 34:08 to push the Curry lead to 3-2 at intermission.

The Falcons started the second half with continued pressure on the Curry defense as freshman McKenzie Tenney (Orange, Mass.) notched her first collegiate goal to tie the game at 3-all.

Curry broke the game open with three straight scores over a four minute span. Sophomore Megan Ladner (Bourne, Mass.) opened the gates at 79:24, then Petrucelli and Korinna Tsonis (Dartmouth, Mass.) each added unassisted scores for the 6-3 final.
