Jeb Booth (Head Coach; 4th Season, 17-35-4)

Jeb Booth enters his fouth season as head coach of the Fitchburg State Women's Soccer Program in 2023.

This past season, Jeb led the Falcons to an overall record of 10-7-3 and a 5-1-1 mark within MASCAC play as the Green and Gold secured the third seed in the MASCAC Women's Soccer post-season tournament, while also guiding the team its first championship finalist appearance in school history. For his efforts, Jeb was named MASCAC Coach of the Year, while also seeing three players named to the MASCAC All-Conference Team.

Jeb brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience and success to our women’s soccer program,” Burke said.  “He has a strong understanding of what it means to be a NCAA Division III athlete and is committed to our department goals of educating student-athletes, competing at the highest level and building a community.”

Booth comes to Fitchburg State after serving three seasons as an assistant coach at Framingham State University from 2016-2018. During his tenure, Jeb’s primary responsibilities included technical development during the season and developing off-season ball control sessions as well as breaking down opponent formations and identifying strengths and weakness.

In addition, Booth is also a head coach and assistant director of the Scorpions Soccer Club in the metro west region based out of Medway, Mass. as well as the head coach of the New England Mutiny Women’s Soccer team in Ludlow, Mass.

Jeb began his coaching career as an assistant coach of the Elite Soccer Academy in August of 2009 before they merged with the Scorpions SC. Following that, Booth was named the co-head coach of the Montrose School girls’ soccer team for the 2014 season.

He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and went on to earn a Master's of Arts degree in Sociology from San Diego State University in 1994. Booth also holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Northeastern University (2002).

Jeb currently resides in Millis, Mass.
